Relaxed, colourful destination wedding photographer in Dordogne South West France.

What can I say! Lydia came highly recommended to us from our wedding planner. We wanted something really relaxed and natural in terms of photography.
As soon as I looked at Lydia’s instagram I knew she was the right person for our wedding. Her photos are a dream and they really tell a story of the day. Before the event we had a questionnaire and a meeting to chat about what we wanted. Lydia gave us tips of what looks well that was authentic to us. We really appreciated that! On the day she arrived and made everyone feel at ease and relaxed. She has a lovely bubbly personality that can get the most shy people to come out of their shells.

The next day we got some preview and they were stunning.
We recently got the full album and I am truly in love with them. I could not recommend Lydia enough she was amazing before, after and during the wedding

I cannot recommend Lydia highly enough! She was a pleasure to work with right from the booking process all the way to receiving our full gallery. In the lead up to the wedding she was full of confidence, and it was so easy to trust her expertise and plan the day knowing she would capture everything that made it "us". And boy did she deliver!
On the day she was efficient and to the point when we needed her to be (wrangling our unruly family into group photos for example). But she was also an amazing hype woman - her, Rainy and Liz made me feel like the most amazing princess on the day. My husband who is not the most comfortable at getting his picture taken was so relaxed and enjoyed himself completely, and it's so obvious in the wonderful shots of him. There were never any awkward poses, only so much fun celebrating with friends and family. Not only did we get a beautiful preview gallery just a couple of days after the wedding, with all the highlights of the day, there were also many Instagram posts to keep us waiting until the full gallery delivery. And the gallery itself was unbelievable, there are so many pictures that it took me almost a month to properly look through them all haha! But what I love the most about them is that they perfectly capture how it felt on that most amazing day - the emotions, the laughter, the pure joy. I felt like I was reliving the day all over again, and that's kind of the point isn't it? Thank you Lydia, Rainy & Liz

We would definitely recommend Lydia to anyone looking for a great photographer. Lydia is a great laugh and really added to the atmosphere of our wedding. She made all the photographs fun, making us laugh from start to finish and kept us at ease.

She also kept us on track throughout the day and shot all the photos that we asked for as well as working hard to snap all the details at our venue and made the most of the beautiful grounds.

Lydia, You are responsible for a very big headache today!

Dave and I followed your advice and settled down with a bottle of wine for the reveal, well after watching it ten times and what now feels like 10 bottles of wine...we didn't go to bed until 2am - ON A MONDAY!!!

Wow - you are an incredibly talented photographer, those photos are more than we could ever have imagined they would be and literally have me in tears...:) I just love them!!! 

Honestly each picture is just perfect and we're really going to struggle to narrow it down so we can print them and make a book!!! It captures the day amazingly!!!

We were blessed to have Lydia as our photographer for our wedding in August! She just seemed to hover in the shadows and still managed to capture some brilliant and natural photos. I stumbled across Lydia by chance whilst reading a blog post on french wedding style. I loved the way that her photos seemed to tell a story and capture the day in a natural way - which was exactly what we were looking for.

On the day Lydia was AMAZING!! a real professional whilst being friendly and approachable. She put all of us at ease and managed to capture the love and laughter of our day perfectly. You were absolutely great on the wedding day. I can't really describe what you did for me, but you were the first person we'd "hired" who made me feel like the day was going to go well. The looks we shared when the celebrant walked in a little ceremoniously meant I knew immediately you were on my side and I look now at the beautiful pictures you took and am sometimes in shock at how much I was smiling - I love a pout believe me, but all I could do was smile. I was marrying the love of my life I suppose but whatever you did to me, it worked and I will forever be grateful.  Thank you again and again for your presence on the day, you were tough when you needed be and one of us throughout! I still swipe dreamily through your beautiful pictures and they bring a smile to my face every time, I get to relive all the wonderful memories we made that day and you are very much a part of those!

Lydia we received them yesterday. OMG they are amazing we haven't stopped looking at them and we sat crying watching them. We are so happy and pleased they are fantastic. I am trying to get them printed so we can have a look properly at them.
